Catawba Island State Park
This state park is 18 acres and provides Lake Erie fishing.  Boat ramps allow power and sail boats access to Lake Erie.  The Wine Islands and other recreational activities are available.  Catawba Island State Park is located on the west side of Catawba Island.  419-797-4530

Crane Creek State Park
Crane Creek State Park is 79 acres.  Lake Erie fishing is permitted.  Canoe access and other recreational activities are available. The park is located north of St. Rt. 579 on the shore of Lake Erie.  419-836-7758

Darby Marsh National Wildlife Refuge
This wildlife refuge is located on the shore of Lake Erie just west of Port Clinton.  Darby Marsh is 520 acres and trapping is by bid.

Dempsey Access
A boat ramp and dock is located here.  This area is 68 acres and permits Lake Erie fishing.  Boats can have unlimited horsepower.  Dempsey Access is located on the shore of Sandusky Bay on the east side of the county.  419-424-5000

East Harbor State Park
East Harbor State Park is located north of St. Rt. 163 and on the shore of Lake Erie.  The park is 1,152 acres of woodland and includes 900 acres of water.  While Lake Erie fishing some of the fish that can be caught are:  walleye, perch, channel cat, smallmouth bass, white bass, crappie, and carp.  Boats can have unlimited horsepower and boat ramps are available to the public.  Waterfowl hunting only and duck blinds are distributed by lottery.  There is an abundance of waterfowl and shorebirds.  Camping with and without electricity, a nature center, and many other recreational activities are available.  419-734-4424

Harry Witty Park
Harry Witty Park is 1 acre and provides a spot for river fishing.  Picnic tables, grills, and other recreational activities are available.  This park is located in the town of Elmore.  419-862-3454

Koening WPA
This wildlife preserve is 29 acres.  It is a public hunting area for pheasant and rabbit.  Koening WPA is located west of Muddy Creek Rd.

Lakeview City Park
This park is 9 acres and provides a spot for Lake Erie fishing.  Shelter house's and other recreational activities are available.  Lakeview City Park is located in Port Clinton south of St. Rt. 105.  419-424-5000

Little Portage Wildlife Area
This 357 acre area with 25 acres of water is located north of Darr-Hopfinger Rd. and south of Portage River.  This area is great for river fishing.  Some of the fish that can be caught are:  channel cat, bullhead, crappie, carp, and pike.  Boats can have unlimited horsepower.  This is a public hunting area.  Woodcock, rabbit, and pheasant are some of the game that inhabit this area.  Their are specific rules for waterfowl hunting posted.  419-424-5000

Magee Marsh Wildlife Area
This wildlife area is 1,800 acres and is considered one of the most intensively developed and managed waterfowl clubs in the Midwest.  Waterfowl hunting is by permit only.  Magee Marsh Wildlife Area is located north of St. Rt. 579 near Turtle Creek Access and Crane Creek State Park.  419-422-6757

Marbelhead Lighthouse
This 1 acre area provides a spot for Lake Erie fishing.  It is located on the east side of the county, east of St. Rt. 163.

Mazurik Access
This area is 14 acres and provides access to Lake Erie and Lake Erie fishing.  Boat ramps and other recreational activities are available.  Mazurik Access is located north of North Shore Blvd. on the east side of the county.  419-424-5000

Oak Point State Park
Oak Point State Park is located on Put-In-Bay.  It provides a 1 acre spot for Lake Erie fishing and boat access.  The Wine Islands and other recreational activities are available.  419-285-2112

Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge
The Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge is located north of St. Rt. 579 and east of St. Rt. 2.  Waterfowl Hunting is by permit only.  Trapping is decided by lottery.  Hiking and other recreational activities are available.  1-419-898-0014

Port Clinton Pier
This area is located in Port Clinton and provides 5 acres of river fishing.

Portage River Access
This 11 acre area provides boat ramps, boat docks, and shore fishing.  This area is also a public hunting area.  This area is located east of St. Rt. 2.

Put-In-Bay Village Marina
This marina is 1 acre and provides Lake Erie fishing, boat access, and camping.  419-285-2068

River Bend Park
This park is 10 acres and provides river fishing, picnic tables, and other recreational activities.  It is located in the town of Elmore in the south west corner of the county.  419-862-3454

Sandusky Bay Bridge Access
This is a 5 acre public hunting area.  River fishing and other recreational activities are available.  Sandusky Bay Bridge is located south of St. Rt. 269.  419-424-5000

South Bass Island State Park
This State Park is located on Put-In-Bay Island.  Camping, Lake Erie fishing, and boat ramps are provided.  This park is 35 acres and includes many recreational activities such as swimming, grills, and playgrounds.

Toussaint Wildlife Area
This area is 236 acres of woodland and 93 acres of water.  This wildlife area is great for river fishing.  Some of the fish that can be caught are:  channel cat, bullhead, white crappies, black crappies, drum, carp, largemouth bass, bluegill, and sunfish.  This area is also a public hunting and some of the game are rabbit, waterfowl, and pheasant.  It is located west of St. Rt. 19 near the north side of the county.

Turtle Creek Access
This area is great for Lake Erie fishing.  A boat ramp provides access for power and sail boats and boats can have unlimited horsepower.  Turtle Creek Access is located north of Navarre Marsh and south of Magee Marsh Wildlife Area.  419-424-5000

Water Works Park
This park provides Lake Erie fishing and other recreational activities.  Water Works Park is located in Port Clinton.  419-734-5522

West Harbor Ramp
This ramp is great for Lake Erie fishing.  It is 5 acres and includes many recreational activities.  It is located east of St. Rt. 53 near East Harbor State Park.  419-734-6710 or 419-734-4308
