Amann
Reservoir
This reservoir is
61 acres. Lake fishing and only electric motor boats are permitted.
Boat ramps and latrines are provided. Amann Reservoir is located
west of St. Rt. 61.
Amicks
Reservoir
Amicks Reservoir
is 40 acres of woodland and 20 acres of water. Lake fishing and only
electric motor boats permitted. Amicks Reservoir is located west of
St. Rt. 61 south of Amann Reservoir.
Clear
Fork Reservoir
Boats can have
unlimited horsepower on this reservoir. This area is made up of 550
acres of woodland and 944 acres of water. On the NORTH side of the
reservoir hunting is permitted but fishing is not. On the SOUTH side
of the reservoir fishing is permitted and hunting is not. The
reservoir is located in the north east corner of the county.
Delaware
Wildlife Area
This area is 509
acres of woodland and 1,330 acres of water. While lake fishing some
of the fish that can be caught are: black bass, bluegill, crappie,
white bass, saugeye, and catfish. Boat ramps are provided.
This area is also a public hunting area. The game that inhabit this
area are: rabbit, pheasant, squirrels, woodchuck, and waterfowl.
Pheasants are stocked in this location. A shooting range, archery
range, and dog training area is provided. Delaware Wildlife Area is
located in the south west corner of the county. 614-747-2525
Mount
Gilead State Park
Mount Gilead
State Park is 140 acres of woodland and 32 acres of water. Pond
fishing and pan fishing are permitted. Only boats with electric
motors are permitted. Three end moraines from the last ice age
converged at this park. Campsites and other recreational activities
are provided. Mount Gilead State Park is located on the east side of
Mt. Gilead, north of St. Rt. 95.
