Fallsville Wildlife Area
This is 1382
acres of public hunting with 12 acres of water. Hunting includes
rabbit, pheasant, quail, squirrels, woodchuck, deer, waterfowl, and
furbearers. Their is also a shooting range. Six shallow ponds
and a quarry provide fishing for catfish, largemouth bass, and bluegill.

Felson
Park
Located near St.
Rt. 28 this 12 acre park is primarily known for stream fishing.

Fort Hill
A 1187 acre
nature preserve containing the best preserved Indian hilltop enclosures in
North America. The stone and earthen wall encloses about 48 acres
and is approximately 1 5/8 mile with 33 gateways. This preserve
contains a museum and a nature center. Their is also well marked
trails for hiking and backpacking. 513-588-3221
Hillsboro
Reservoir
Located near St.
Rt. 62 just north of F.A.C.T. Park, Hillsboro Reservoir is a great source
for pond fishing. The 25 acre reservoir only allows electric motor

Mead
Forestlands
Meads Forestlands
is located off Cynthiana Rd. This is a 360 acre public hunting area.
Hunters must obtain permission before crossing the surrounding property to
Meads Forestlands. 614-772-311
Mitchell
Park
Located near St.
Rt. 41, this Park is 27 acres with 2 acres of water. Shore fishing
is permitted with other recreational activities. 513-981-7756
Oldaker
Wildlife Area
This wildlife
area is located in the northwestern part of the county. The 140 acre
wildlife area is north of St. Rt. 50 on the corner of Russell Rd. and
T-126. Oldaker Wildlife area is a public hunting area supplying
rabbit, quail, squirrels, woodchuck, raccoons, waterfowl, and deer.
This area also contains 4 acres of water with great spots for shore
fishing. Only electric boats are allowed. Largemouth bass,
bluegill, and catfish are some of the fish you can catch.

Creek State Park
The state park is
9000 acres with 1200 acres of water. Some of the fish that are
available are saugeye, bluegill, bass, catfish, and crappie. Boats
can have unlimited horsepower. Boat ramps, docks, and rentals are
available. At the state park public hunting is in designated areas.
The game at the state park are waterfowl, pheasant, rabbit, deer, and
turkey. Their is an early 1800's pioneer farm with log house
livestock and gardens/fields. Campsites with electricity and other

This wildlife
area is 5149 acres with 1200 acres of water. Lake fishing and public
hunting is permitted. Bikes and horses are not allowed.

State Forest
St. Rt. 41 runs
through Pike State Forest. The state forest is 515 acres of public
hunting and mushroom hunting. Hiking and X-country skiing trails are

Rocky
Fork State Park
Rocky Fork State
Park is 1384 acres of woodland and 2080 acres of water. Lake fishing
with unlimited horse power boats are permitted. Some of the fish
available are bass, bluegill, crappie, and muskellunge. Boat ramps,
docks, and rentals are made available. Public hunting is in
designated areas. A nature center with campsites and recreational

Seven
Caves
Seven Caves is
just south of St. Rt. 50 on the east side of the county. The caves
and well marked trails span for 90 acres. Each unique is cave is
rich with Indian history and legend. The Magic Waters Theater is
