Blanchard River
This pesky, famously flooding river which continually daunts the city of
Findlay and the village of Ottawa is also a great conduit for outdoor
activity. Riverside park in Findlay has paddle boat rentals, and
"The Ol' Mill Stream" also is popular for canoeing. Outside of city
limits, it's public ground and a nice place for waterfowl hunting and
river fishing.
Findlay Reservoirs 1&2
827 acres of fishing for walleye, catfish, panfish with boat ramps. Boats
are limited to 9-HP. Some public hunting, waterfowl hunting.
Cycling, sledding, jogging areas.

Small public hunting area just off County Road 139 on Findlay's west side.
Rabbits, birds, deer, varmints.

Daugherty
Just west of Fostoria in the city's reservoir area, the lake has 11 acres
of surface, cycling, walking and jogging trails. Public fishing.

Just south of Fostoria. 128 acres of water with boat HP limited to
9-HP. Shore fishing, jogging & cycling trails. Boat ramp.

Lamberjack
Just west of Fostoria in the city's reservoir area, the lake has 32 acres
of surface, cycling, walking and jogging trails. Public fishing.
Boats limited to 10-HP. Boat ramps, shore fishing, bike trail.

Mosier
Just west of Fostoria in the city's reservoir area. 91 acres of
water with 10-HP limit for boats. Shore fishing, jogging and cycling
trails, bridle & equestrian opportunities.

Just west of Fostoria in the city's reservoir area. 17 acres of
water for shore fishing, jogging and cycling trails.
Litzenberg
Memorial Woods
Just west of Findlay, Litzenberg encompasses 105 acres and includes some
shore fishing and a public hunting area. Great place for families to
explore nature with a barn for gatherings and plenty of trails.

WPA
Small public hunting area on Hancock County's southern border.
Mostly grasslands with some wooded fencerows. Rabbits, birds, deer,
varmints, pheasants.
Montgomery WPA
Small public hunting area within Hancock County's southwestern side.
Rabbits, birds, deer, varmints, pheasants. Orange Township Road 27.

WPA
Small public hunting area between McComb and Van Buren just off State
Route 613. Rabbits, birds, varmints.
Rieman
WPA
Small public hunting area in Eagle Township east of Rawson on
County Road 26. Rabbits, birds, deer, varmints, pheasants.
Riverbend Recreation Area
5-acre pond for fishing, adjacent to Findlay Reservoirs. Many trails
for hiking, disc golf, dog "play" area, very nice lodge for family and
business gatherings with full playground just outside.

Small public hunting area on Hancock County's north side, north of Van
Buren near the Hancock County/Wood County border, Allen Township Road 114.
Rabbits, birds, deer, varmints, pheasants.
Van
Buren State Park
251 acres of outdoor adventure and family fun. Popular campground
for both RVs and primitive sites. 45 acres of lake fishing, electric
motors only. Public hunting area. Trails for hiking, biking
and cross-country skiing. Butterfly garden and gazebo at east
campus, just down the road.
Veterans Memorial Reservoir
Just south of Fostoria in the city's reservoir area, the lake has 300
acres of surface for public fishing, with reefs and stumps. Boat
motors limited to 9-HP. Cycling, walking and jogging trails.
