Five Mile Access
Located near the southeast corner of the county, this area provides access to approximately 1000 acres of water.  Boats can be of unlimited horsepower, there's access to river fishing, and a public hunting area.

Independence Dam State Park
Catch walleye, pike, smallmouth bass, catfish and crappie inside 606 acres of water.  Boat horsepower is unlimited.  Also enjoy cross-country skiiing, hiking and bike trails, sledding, ice skating and playground.

Oxbow Wildlife Area
Public Hunting and Fishing over 416 acres, 44 acres of water.  Hunt for Rabbit, squirrel, quail, deer, woodcock, waterfowl and furbearers, or practice on the shooting range.  Water is for electric motors only, and fish species includes pike, bullheads, LM Bass, SM Bass, rock bass, sunfish, bluegill, and channel cat.  419-424-5000

There are also various places to shore fish along the Maumee River, the Auglaize River and the historic Miami-Erie canal.
