Grand
Lake St. Marys State
Park
For a time, Grand Lake St.
Marys was the largest man-made lake in the world. Today the lake
spans 13,500 acres of water, while the park itself is 500 acres. The
lake has no horsepower limit, and plays host to many fishing tournaments
as well as controlled waterfowl hunts. Duck blinds are available
through waterfowl seasons by lottery. There are plenty of boat ramps
and docks, and there's an on-site fish hatchery and nature center.
There are some areas for public hunting. Parts of the Grand Lake are
in Mercer County and are easily accessible there as well. A great

Lake Loramie State Park
Lake fishing with no boating
horsepower limits. The state park is 400 acres, while there's access
to 1,655 acres of water. Boat ramps & docks are easily accessible.

Miami Erie Canal
Shore fishing in the
historic canal, which was once fed by Grand Lake St. Marys. Best
site is near New Bremen, and it comprises 3 acres of water.
