OutdoorOhio is a information and entertainment website that offers video and audio content for the Ohio wildlife sportsperson.  OutdoorOhio would like you to consider including information of interest to our customers. Outdoor Ohio is the area's first "video magazine", offering relevant stories about events, gear, techniques and adventures in the outdoors.

We're 100% Ohio. We stay in Ohio to film, our podcasts are recorded with Ohioans and folks who are invested in the state, and our video and podcast editing is all done in the studios of Allen Film & Video / Outdoor Ohio in Northwest Ohio. 

Viewers of wildlife oriented television are more financially free than the audiences of other genres, they're fiercely loyal to the sport and those that support it, and they spend real money with wildlife TV advertisers.  Numbers from the U.S. government estimate that nationally around $108 billion is spent each year on hunting, fishing and related outdoor activities.

You may advertise your company and your targeted listings on our website for as low as $20 per month, with prices varying for prime areas on the site.

In a single month, December of 2007, the website had 12,649 "hits", with 3,520 pages being directly accessed either through links or from promotional e-mails. The #1 search item that led people to Outdoor Ohio was the search for public hunting land. We're excited about the traffic we're receiving - and we have plans to implement features that will excite even more people, bringing them to the site. Our website promotion has only just begun. Once we start wide-spread promotion, the hits - and the value to advertisers - will explode.

The website has a County-By-County area where you can advertise to just the people who plan to do business in your area.  The website display ads can vary in size, and they're free to set up, free to design, and changes are free too.  Change them as often as you like!  There are no hidden costs!  We’ll even work with the graphic designer of your choice to make sure you get the online advertisement you want.  We’ll even link your ad to your website free of charge.  All you pay for is the ad place itself.

**Note. I have to confess that while I hope sponsors do advertise on the site, I hope it's for all the right reasons. I hope advertisers come here because they want to sponsor our mission...because they believe in our directive to do what we can to get more families outside enjoying Ohio's resources together. In the meantime, my hope is that their commitment to us and our mission is repaid when visitors support their businesses. I would rather have blank space on the site than sell banners to companies who don't share our vision and our commitment to wildlife and habitat stewardship.
