I'm your Outdoor Ohio host, KC Allen.

I know how it is.  You have a 40-60 hour work week, which is surrounded by the needs of the kids and your spouse's "honey-do" list.  I have it too. 

I'm the owner of Allen Film & Video , a video and audio production facility specializing in feature-length and short films, corporate and industrial videos. I also have a couple of other small businesses, and I have a wife, two kids and a dog. Yeah, I'm a busy guy.

But then that time of the year comes, and you know when that is, and you start to feel different.  You start to act different and call people you haven't talked to since the last time you felt this way.

Outdoor Ohio was originally started to help ease those instincts that have us craving the woods or the water.  As I got more and more into it, I discovered that there was a lot more to engaging in my passions than just posting pictures of my trophies.  I found that I have an interest in conservation, and protecting the second amendment, and bringing my children up to love, respect and protect the outdoors.

We're 100% Ohio. We stay in Ohio to film, our podcasts are recorded with Ohioans and folks who are invested in the state, and our video and podcast editing is all done in the studios of Allen Film & Video / Outdoor Ohio in Northwest Ohio. 

So, Outdoor Ohio has grown into what you see today, and it's still just an infant.

I do want to thank a few people who have helped along the way...Roger Davis and Greg Kraus, both of whom ran camera for me at one point or another, Gavin Schroeder who helped with production and put time in on the website, Cody Bell who has been assisting with scheduling shoots and logistics, Mike Moore from the Ohio Outdoor News and, of course, all the people out there who have gotten excited about this project and have told their friends and co-workers.
